Strategic communications & positioning
Complex technology,
clearly told.
Sulingo builds the positioning and narrative that align your organization's tech with its target audiences.
The operator behind it
// signal, extracted from noise
Selected clients & collaborations
// much of the work is ghostwritten. Those names stay off the page.
The work
Three things, done at a senior level.
Positioning strategy
Where you play, what you claim, and why it's credible. The decisions every other asset inherits.
positioning frameworks · messaging architecture · brand story
Executive messaging & thought leadership
Narratives leaders can stand behind: board and investor communication, industry commentary, and the voice behind them.
thought leadership & op-eds · investor updates · pitch decks · executive bios
Market-facing assets
White papers, case studies, and investor and partner materials, built on the positioning rather than instead of it.
white papers · case studies · website copy · product narratives
Point of view
The writing is the last step.
The real work is upstream: understanding how the business runs, deciding what matters, and imposing clarity on complexity. Anyone can produce content. The scarce skill is judgement: knowing which claim is defensible, which story the market will accept, and which page of the deck is quietly working against you.
Engagements start with the business: the model, the market, the stakeholders. They end with a narrative that aligns the company with its audiences: investors, partners, customers, and employees.
How engagements run
01 — Immerse
Understand the business
Stakeholder interviews, product deep-dive, market and competitor review. No writing yet.
02 — Position
Decide what matters
The claims, the audiences, the proof. Agreed with leadership before a word of copy exists.
03 — Narrate
Build the story
The core narrative and messaging architecture every asset will inherit.
04 — Produce
Ship the assets
White papers, decks, web copy, thought leadership. Reviewed with you, revised until right.
Who's behind it
An operator's practice, not an agency.
Sulingo was founded by Jonathan Meister, an engineer and twenty-year technology operator with executive roles including COO, GM, VP of Strategic Partnerships, board director, and founder, across VC-backed companies in IoT, automotive technology, SaaS, and hardware/software platforms.
The know-how comes from the operating side of the table: owning the P&L, facing the board, negotiating the partnership, and aligning technology businesses with their audiences.
We've raised funds, burned funds, mentored young entrepreneurs, been mentored by better ones, founded multi-million-dollar startups, and diligently crashed a couple. We speak start-up.
